The Wedding Party

Those Who Have and Always Will Be There For Us.

Nicole Kanomata

Sister of the Bride

Maid Of Honor

My sister Nicole has always been my close friend. I have the best memories of when we were younger, laying in bed, talking late into the night. I remember several conversations about who would get married first, and I always told her that there was no question, my big sister would be my maid of honor. I am thrilled to have her there beside me on my big day. I always know that I can count on Nicole to be there, to soothe any problem, or laught and smile over every excitement.

Abigail Kanomata

Sister of the Bride

Bridesmaid

Ever since Abigail was a very little girl she talked about being in my wedding, and how she was going to make it so very special for me. She once told me, "Ashley, getting married is like going to the grocery store. You have to pray, and choose the right one!" I'm proud and thrilled to have her a part of my special day, and know that we'll make memories that will last forever.

Shayla Steffens

Sister of the Groom

Bridesmaid

Shayla has been a dear & close friend of mine since we were 11 years old. As we got older, I have the best memories of laying in bed during one of our family visits, and talking late into the night about life and the future. Shayla has always had a ready hug, or extra time for a heart to heart talk. In her heart of love she delighted in playing 'matchmaker' for Robby & I. Needless to say, it made many priceless memories! I'm so excited that my childhood friend will soon be my sister-in-law. I can't imagine life without her!

Katie Krueger

Friend of the Bride

Bridesmaid

Katie's friendship has been treasured more than pearls. We've been friends since we were 8, and made so many memories, and learned so many lessons together. She always had a smile and a ready laugh that brightened my days. I well remember sitting in the Krueger's treehouse together one day, talking about how we could best prepare for marriage one day. We studied together, planned and dreamed together. She's always been there for me, and I'm so excited that she'll be there for me again on my wedding day!

Christina Steffens

Future Sister-in-Law

Bridesmaid

I first met Christina on a trip out west with the Steffens family. Her quiet, sweet ways were precious, and I enjoyed the times I was able to talk with her. I have special memories of both of us being in a relationship at the same time, and taking about the beauties and lessons we learned from it. I'm excited to be joining the family with her, and anticipating the times we'll spend together in the future.

Randall Steffens Jr.

Brother of the Groom

Best Man

I am so thankful to God for the gift of an older brother like Randy. When I was born, as my father tells the story, Randy seemed to feel neglected and, running through the house, yelled “Put him back in Mommy, put him back!” We quickly grew to be the closest of friends, however, and have made numberless happy memories together. Whether it was stargazing under clear skies, buddy preaching in distant lands, submersed in Calculus textbooks, or exploring Western frontiers, Randy has always been close by. I am delighted that this occasion is to be no exception.

Richard Steffens

Brother of the Groom

Groomsman

Richard and I have always been kindred spirits in almost every way. Mature beyond his years and seemingly an expert in everything he puts his hand to, Rich is always an asset to have around. It matters not if I need technical trouble-shooting, a philosophical soundbite, or a sympathetic ear; nothing can diminish Richard’s tenacious perseverance, compare to his spiritual insights, or diminish his great can-do aura. I’m very grateful to Rich for wearing several hats during our wedding, agreeing as he has to play both cinematographer and groomsman simultaneously. Thanks Rich, you’re the best!

Matthew Kanomata

Brother of the Bride

Groomsman

Among many, there are two things about Matthew that make me grateful for the privilege of claiming him as a friend and soon-to-be brother. First, Matthew has a passion for art and creativity – a fusion of enthusiasm and skill that make him the ultimate resource when seeking sound advice or fine products. The woodwork in our wedding is thanks to Matthew’s artistry and generosity. Secondly, Matthew has a God-given sense of kindness and wisdom, graces that have often been expressed in words of sincere encouragement and friendly counsel – both of which have made a difference in my life. I thank God for you, Matthew!

Caleb Kanomata

Brother of the Bride

Groomsman

Caleb is the kind of guy that anyone would love for a brother-in-law. Not only is he an intellectual; he’s a fun friend who is always willing to help whenever he can. He’s always ready to set out on an impromptu photo-shoot, snap a couple iPhone shots as I plan engagement setup, or de-stress me with an exhibition of his latest acrobatic feats. Thank you for always being there my friend!

Jent Kyle

Friend of the Groom

Groomsman

I have had the privilege of knowing Jent longer than just about any other friend I know. We both grew up on the desolate plains of north-eastern Montana, and still relish the memories of family get-togethers brimming with high adventure and much fun. As we have grown older, our childish escapades have given way to more meaningful discussions, as we ponder the mysteries of life. I’ll always be grateful for the hours Jent and I have talked, and all the great counsel he’s given me on such varied subjects as education, marriage, and serving God. I’m so grateful to have you as a groomsmen, Jent!
